MO, big cigar in the avatar and 1D body and you are looking for cheap tripods? I am a big believer in you get what you pay for, saying that I have read a few reviews on the red fish tripod and it doesn't seem bad for money.
Just buy one as it is cheap and if it isn't any good for weight of your kit just sell it on here through classifieds.

When I drove off with the tripod on the roof of my car recently I was glad it was a £20 Argos one when it hit the road at 60mph
