    Bag Help

    Guys and Girls

Looking for bit of info or advise here.

Looking for a general carry around bag ... I dont like carrying the rucksack with all the lenses and all the kit in it all the time mainly due to the weight and the considerable costs of all the kit should something happen like a theft, unattended breakin etc so when I go out with the family for instance I will normally take one lens and leave it on the camera.

I am looking for a bag suitable for this kinda thing, or putting on the backseat of the car when I am out and about for those "wish I had a camera" moments.

    Camera Body: Canon 1Ds3
Lens mainly: 24-105 F4 OR 70-200 F2.8 (pocket for the Nifty Fifty)

    Let me know your thoughts

    Thanks

    Re: Bag Help

    Hi Steve.

I have a Lowepro toploader Pro 70 AW for my Id's mark 2 with the 24-105,
it's not long enough for your 70-200 but sure the nifty fifty would fit in the
front pocket, also room for a spare battery.

It's a big toploader but perfect for the back seat :)

    Hope that helps.

    Re: Bag Help

Steve - I just bought a bag for that purpose. I carry a 5D Mkii and 24-105 and it fits into a Think Tank Digital Holster 20 no problem. Also long enough for my 70-200.

    Re: Bag Help

Have you guys any exposure to the Lowepre Stealth range of bags? I really need to be keeping the 70-200 and eith the 24-105 or the 17-40 in it.

I will be changing the 17-40 for the 24-70 when it arrives.

    Re: Bag Help

Kata seem to do a reasonably well thought out range of bags - might be worth a peek. I am always looking at bloody bags, lol - I want a small Rucksack for going out walking with to carry on a little gear and maybe a lunchbox and a drink in - other things to spend money on at the moment though ¬_¬
