Compatible inks

Have any of you used non Canon inks in their printer and if so, what did they think of them?

I have always shied away from using non genuine inks before due to hearing bad reports but in view of the extortionate prices charged by Canon (and Epson) it is tempting. I was prompted to ask this after receiving an email from 7 dayshop.

I use compatibles from Jet Tech in my canon 5200 printer with excellent results. I would not however, use 3rd party cartridges in my pro9500.

Ink Raider often have fairly good prices on their site. I have used them numerous times now. Never used 3rd party ink in my 9500.

I only use names epson inks... Just hassle using cheaper alternatives
