    The making of Lee Filters

    This is quite an interesting little video on how a Lee Filter is made.



    Two things I noticed .............

    1. There are no blokes working there !!!
    2. Why don't they get it all automated?

    Or it could be that the Big Stopper is outsourced manufacturing in China, and a very high percentage of them are failing Lee quality control

    How wonderful that in the day and age of mass automation (and the general result being poorer quality products) that a company still makes something by hand. Wonderful. Explains the availability issues and wait times but to be honest, having seen that, I don't care :)

    Some chappies I know are experimenting with welding glass at less than £4 for a sizeable piece.

    And then processing afterwards.
