    B&W 110 ND filter.

I apologies if this topic has been covered before, I did attempt to search for it but to no avail. (it was more likely human error!)

I am after some advice regarding the B&W ND 110 filter (58mm threaded). Firstly, can anyone offer their feedback / views on this make and if it is a wise investment (i appreciate it is an entry /lower end of the budget filter but this suits my budget for the time being)

I would also be grateful if someone can point me in the right direction with regards to calculating exposure times using such filter.

Finally, are these double threaded ( so that I can add a C/Pol if desired!)

Sorry for all the questions and I appreciate in advance, those that take the effort to assist.

Chris, after buying the square filter system it would be wise to purchase the square 110 and polariser to suit this. Most scenes through the day will still require a ND grad to balance the exposure along side the 110 grad.

    Re: B&W 110 ND filter.

Unfortunately, I ordered the circular 110 some time ago, wish I had waited. However that said, I really only intend to use the 110 with a CP to create long seascape exposures. In time, no doubt I will feel the frustration somewhere and will likely end up with a square 110 ND for the P series holder. I never realised how much of an investment landscape photography could be :-) that said, I would rather have decent equipment, at least I can't blame my tools for poor quality images!
