shutter release cable broken

I have just been sorting out my bag for this coming CFF meeting at Ingleton when I noticed that my shutter release cable is broken

Does anyone know where I can get one for a 350D without spending a small fortune?

I thought of EBay but it wont arrive before Saturday, also I don't know the part number, knowing my luck at the moment I would get the wrong one anyway

You could use the self timer function. That should tide you over until you get a replacement.
