    Hi James,

Well at £99 I really could not leave it at the NEC - the best price I had seen on-line was £119.99 at Morris (who seem to be very competitively priced for bags).

The bag does have its own waterproof cover (which is attached and tucked into a pocket on the base) does your not have this?

Is the pocket on the lid the one on the outside? If it is this is a tuck away for a strap for attaching something to the bag - not worked out what yet. If the pocket is on the inside I haven't noticed this yet.

Regarding sandwhiches - I will not have to worry about thin sandwhiches for a little while yet. The bag has been bought with expansion in mind - so will easily accommodate my camera, 70-200mm, 20-20mm, 17-70mm and 50mm with room to spare for great big fat sandwiches (and possibly a whole roast chicken as well).

Yes mine has the waterproof cover. The jacket I slide in the front and lens cover are for me and my camera (respectively) at air shows if the heavens open I don't have a big aircraft to hide underneath.

The pocket on the lid is on the inside and centrally positioned. It's a strange shape and the flap closes with velcro. I have seen someone with a flash in it in photographs but don't think I can safely put mine in there.
