Print sizes - Canon Pixma Pro9500 Mk I
Hi all
Anyone know how to set a custom print size with the afore mentioned printer.
I need to produce some 8"x6" prints ( got some Mirror paper for it), but try as
I mighnt, I cannot get the printer to offer me that size, nor can I find out how
to access a custom size page. I have tried every combination of print sizes,
with every type of paper, but 8x6 is never available.
Having to use A4 paper to do the job - what a waste.
Will be grateful for any help.

Hi Lez
I don't know if this helps, but I have the PRO 9000 and Mac. If printing via Photoshop, go to File/page setup. Where it says paper size, at the bottom of the drop down menu is Custom sizes. You can enter your own sizes there.

i think the easiest way ( but not the least complicated ) is to use a dtp package
i use corel draw to print at any size i need to
it's very easy once you get your head round the package because you can lay the photo or photo's on the page where you want it to print and what size
corel draw ( for instance ) can go much further than this it has a feature where you can draw more or less an shape you desire ( depending on your drawing skills ) and place the photo within the desired shape, adjust the photo so the part of the photo you want to see is within the shape and the rest is masked automaticly ( known as place in container )
