Better Beamer flash extender test

Invested in a better beamer flash extender to try and get a better shot of the kites that are always circling above our house.
Anyway, they decided not to appear today ................ so just did a quick comparison with and without the BB.
These are not the best shots in the world, but show what a difference the BB makes.

Quite a bit of difference even from that far away.........

Good investment me thinks, although it is expensive for what it is ..

Just found this Mark.
I was thinking about getting one of these and wondering how effective they were. What Flash did you use? The 580 exII?
Looks like it may be a worthwhile purchase.

I used the 430exII .......... I think they do different sizes for different flashes.

I have used the Beamer for years it works terrific. It packs small. Just do not let it the sun spot into the Beamer or it will melt the flash like a kids magnifying glass. It is really meant for long lenses short lenses will have it spotlight on the subject.
