    Photo storage on the move

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes!

We are planning a round the world trip which will last about a year. I take lots of pictures and so does my other half, we do have some cards but they are pretty expensive to buy and they are easily lost. Bearing in mind we will be in remote areas for some of the time is there a sensible method of storing lots of photos on the move? We have considered a small laptop but is there an alternative method of storage?

    Any suggestions please

    Thanks Mark
That is well worth looking at, its cheaper and lighter than a laptop and not so stealable!
    I will investigate further

As well as the portable storage option, there is always the option of on-line storage. You would need a lap-top and b e able to connect to the internet (though not continuously).
