I've really enjoyed the dandelion threads appearing on the message board, and of course the bluebell ones. It's really good to see peoples individual takes on a subject and gives plenty of food for thought.

Following on from that I wondered if there was any chance of setting up a catogory just for themes, not necessarily something that is judged, more a 'theme of the week'. For instance on a sunday night one of the mod posts a new category in a "theme of the week" section, just one word and something pretty specific, like dandelion, or dog, or stone, then as many of us as possible try and take a pic and post it up just for the fun of it. The subjects would be good if they could be things that work with various different lenses, so everyone can choose their specialty of do something different. WDYT?

I agree not a comp or anything like that but maybe someone could just start a thread with 'post your favourite xxx' shot here, 1 per memebr... maybe :o)

I tried that for 'favourite landscape shot of the year' a year or so ago though and got maybe 3 replies :o)
