Forum Guidelines, Please Read

• Membership to Canon Fodder Forums is a privilege not a right which can be remove by the Administrators at any time.

• Legal rights of the written content sent to Canon Fodder Forums by its members belongs to the site owner/administration when they are submitted to the site, members can not ask for the submitted content to be removed or unpublished from the site later.

• All images submitted to Canon Fodder Forums, remain the copyright of the author.



When Posting.

• Posts in the forums are expected to be written in English as it is the default language of our community. Posts should be clear, understandable, correct in grammar where possible and should avoid using too many abbreviations and chat language slang.

• Please only post images that are taken with a Canon EOS camera, this will keep the forum going in the direction to which it was created for, to share experiences, techniques and images from like minded people. Images from other makes and brands can be posted to illustrate your point, it will be impossible to moderate so we ask you follow the rules to help the forum run smoothly.

• All messages sent to forums should be in compliance with our site agreement and site principals.

• A forum post can be sent to one forum area only. If a thread is related to more than one forum, it should still be posted to a single forum in which it fits better. Multiple posting of the same thread is not allowed.

• Every forum thread should be created in the relevant forum and every post should be posted in the relevant thread. Irrelevant, off-topic posts and threads should not be posted.

• Members should not post messages which can provoke, harass, disturb, agitate other members.

• Posts which can be considered rude, unfriendly, angered, ill-mannered, inappropriate, uncalled-for, gratuitous, disturbing, unrespectful, unjust by other site members or site administration should not be posted.

•Replies and Questioning to warnings, notices and reminders of site administration and moderators, criticism, complaints, discussions of site administration, site rules or the site itself, should be posted inside dedicated forum ONLY (if any) or sent via private message system or email system to site administration. Such discussions can not be pursued inside the public forums or existing threads.

• If a forum discussion mentions about a name, trademark, organisation in an ill-mannered way, the name should be hidden. Our site and forum should not be used to disclose or expose names in an ill-mannered way.

• No adverts or commercial content is allowed to be posted anywhere on the forums. If you want to trade photography products then please contact Admin with your request to become a CFF Trader. The classifieds are used for selling photography items.

• Admin reserves the right to ban any member whom they feel is using CFF as a platform for other reasons that have a conflict of interest to CFF. If your found to be using the forums for your own gain ie advertisements, links etc, then these will be removed and repeated offenders will be banned.

• Do not air any disagreement with Administration or moderator's on line, please use the personal messaging system on the forum for get things settled amicably.
We encourage healthy debate but no defamatory, abusive or hateful comments will be made and personal attacks or the like will not be tolerated against members of staff or forum members. Members who go down this line will have their account details deleted and banned from further use.

• Once a decision has been made by Admin and a thread is closed, no further posts or threads can be started on the same subject. If you have anything to add to the discussion then please use the forum PM system to contact Admin.

• Members using the Market Place agree to the Market Place rules and regulations, global rules still apply. Members will need a post count of 50 before they can use this service, this is to stop fly-by posting.

• A discussion between two members can't be carried over to CFF from another forum/blog, CFF is for CFF discussions only. This is not permitted and will be dealt with swiftly.

• Do not post links to your blog on the forum, you can link to it from your signature only.

• Most of all, treat the forums and the members with the respect that you would like to be treated with. This way we all enjoy our experience on CFF.

•From time to time we will link threads from the forum to FaceBook or Twitter to promote CFF and the photographer, by posting here you grant us permission to do so but again, copyright of the image remains with the author.

• All members are subject to further changes in the agreement without notice.



Accounts.

• Any member found to be using more than one account will be banned from the forums. We do not allow this practice here on at CFF, Admin check this ever month.

• None posting accounts will be deleted after a period of 5 months e.g. if the member hasn't posted more than 10 posts in that period.

• Please have an active email address at all times while on the forums, any email that is bounced back the account responsible will be blocked until this matter is closed.

• It's unfortunate for any member to leave but goodbye threads won't be allowed. No account will be deleted from the forum, if you wish to leave then a member of the team will clear your information from your User CP.


Avatars & Signatures.

• No animated avatars or signature images are allowed.

• Avatars should be no larger than 100px × 100px.

• You are not permitted to list any items for sale, this is what the classifieds are for.

• Only links to personal photography websites/blogs are allowed. Commercial sites are strictly forbidden, if you require a link to your commercial site then please contact Admin were a small charge will be asked for.



Software.

• Please do not refer to the use of pirate software as such posts suggesting or condoning the use of pirated software will be edited or removed.

Canon Fodder Forums will not be held responsible for persons using pirated software or consequences from using said software.

Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also forbidden on this forum.
