Hi all hope everbodys ok!
Ok here`s my situation, i had an accident 11 year ago which broke my neck & left me paralysed from the neck down.
I can use a a pc with a headset it has a pipe attached which if blow down it once it will single click or blow twice for double click & suck the pipe for right click if thats understandable!
I started getting into photography about 2 years ago but found it so frustrating not being able to controll the camera untill i bought my eos 400d.
Now the problem is i can`t see if the pic is in focus ect until it`s on my pc, & it`s all so stopped working alltogether now since i updated my system
so my question is why is it so hard to find simular software to the eos utilitys that disable people can use from a pc?
Any help appreciated!
Thanks

Found these articles on the web. Not sure whether they are helpful or not though Neal..
Free Tethered Shooting for Canon digital SLR cameras

Neal there are many articles on the web with regard to tethered shooting, also it looks like lots of the third party imaging software out there supports it to varying degrees...
However I am not sure how you can get the focus correct without being able to view through the view finder (other than hope the cameras Autofocus does its job) unless you can get one of the latest cameras with live view, this may help you. There are some adapters for viewfinders but I do not think they will help your situation...
good luck

Yes the 450D does have liveview, so in theory you should be able to use it on your PC........ (Sorry I missed that)

Eos Utility works great with Live View or you could try BreezeBrowsers camera control system.
