film? whats that stuff? i started photoghaphy about 7 years ago with a digital, so i dont know anything about the murky dark room. anyway welcome aboard and enjoy, cos there are plenty here that have worked film.

b&w processing involves much less bashing of shins and groping around in the dark and will be much easier to setup at home, colour processing and printing is fun as long as you aren't scared of the dark :)

Film will make you much more concious about your shot as you can't merrily snap away.

Ditched film a while ago,It's too expensive here in France for the processing.
Although there is a club here and they will only let you join if you use film,so that rules me out.
