Introduction

My name is Pip Vye, I am 56 years old and live near Stevenage Hertfordshire. I am very interested in photography, and especialy Bird photography, I am a beginer and have a Canon EOS 400D camera and a Sigma 150-500mm zoom lens. I like the Sigma lens but my biggest frustration to date is that I am struggling to get close enough to the Birds for great results. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you pop along to the Discuss Wildlife photography techniques here forum and start a thread there, I'm sure you'll get good advice from all the wildlife photographers there.

The 150-500 is a very capable lens for Bird Photography so you have the kit just need technique which comes with practice and asking/picking brains

Do you ever come over to Amwell, Rye Meads or Fishers Green, if so we could meet up sometime
