The calm waters of Ardvasar Harbour, south Skye

Just close to Grumpy's house is the tranquil harbour of Ardvasar, looking across to Loch Nevis, Knoydart and Mallaig.

Lovely scene, lovely composition Rob.
I like the way you have mirrored the cloud to the FG lead in of the little channel of water. Well put together.
Central'ish horizon doesn't bother me here at all.
Only thing that would have topped it off, is for the red boat be anchored about 5m to the right so that it wasn't partly obscured by the rocks.....but it wasn't :-)

Really likde this, very calming... it is a pity you haven't caught all the red boat.

I too really like this image.

It is a shame the red boat isn't more to the right where the foreground rocks dip slightly - then it would be closer to the left hand third.

A lovely scene. The horizon is a little central but then there's a nice even balance of land, water, mountain and sky detail.

The greens could be boosted a little and the rocks do appear a touch soft but still a lovely scene.
