As above... this is a stunning sky. Makes the photo very atmospheric! Did you use any filters to achieve this effect?

If I recal I used a split x 2 Nuetral Density filter but most of the work was done in the ''darkroom'' PS. Dodging and burning which I do lots of.. Cheers thanks for commenting..![]()

I can see that you've been thinking out of the box composition wise with this one but it doesn't quite 'float the boat' for me. The detail in the planking is wonderful (I might yet be converted to the merits of subtle HDR) but I find the 'wrath of God' sky a tad overbearing. However, this is digital art rather than representational imagery and so who's to say? Just my honest thoughts...
