    Another late August sunset

I've been busy today. There was so much kind response to the other one I posted, and I learned so much from your comments that I wanted to post another one, taken just minutes before the one you've seen already. WDYT about this one?

I like the picture but the colour is a little unreal. Rob

Rather like this but the whole effect is somewhat ethereal ... very dreamy

Thanks for your comments. I used hours playing with the different parameters in this and another image. The other one messed up completely, so I will have to start al over again, and I can't deny that I got "blind" when doing this one too.

I really really like this Espen.

The composition is very nice and I like the really high horizon. The rocks from the right lead you in nicely in to the trees in the background and then across to that lovely sky.

I agree it is very ethereal but I'm rather a fan of Sci-Fi and Fantasy books and a lot of their covers have these lovely unreal colours so for me, it's very much a step away from the colours of reality. It would suit the Fantasy genre.

Really nice composition. I haven't got ND filters so I'm not sure if the strength of certain colors are muted because of it...

Thanks for your comment Soe. The filters are not visible in the image, ND filters are not visible while used correctly.

In this particular case they cross in the upper right half of the image, in a line starting from the edge of the frame, just above the "red" stone in the bottom RHS corner, ending in the top, just the trees. Actually one can see that the part where the open sea are, is slightly darker than the rest of the image, but it does not have any influence on the colours.
