    Re: sunset today

I do like the winding road on the lhs and the sky is great, Personally I'd crop most of the rhs in order to lose the brightest area of sky and the rather dominant silhouetted mountain. Good work, Stu.

    Thanks Alun
kept the bit of hill with the watch tower in - links another pic I posted of this quite nicely.
think this is a better crop.

WOW, I love the second one, its amazing what a difference the crop makes, I like the winding road and the lights the crop to me seems to bring these out more, it also seems to emphasize the nice sky more to me as well.

    Re: sunset today

Really like the second version - it keeps all the important bits and shows up a lot more in the lights area. I like the cloud formations in the sky as well.

    Thanks Ffion
could actually get away with cropping a little more on rhs
very happy with this, at time of taking I was concerned it would look underexposed but it showed as being in.
will probably do the crop for my web site.

The second one is good for me. Well done and good luck with the new lens (not that you seem to need it!).
