One from a few days ago, the beach in Ord, Isle of Skye, on the other side of the hill from Grumpy George territory!
We have had a few visitors to Skye in recent days including Paddy and Hadrian, and probably a few others. We hope you enjoyed your stay and had some good weather, and Grumpy George and I both hope you went away with some great images as well as some special memories.
40D 1/200 sec ISO 200 28-135 IS lens at 35mm no filters, and just a beach
Comments always welcome and very much appreciated.

I think its a great shot. The crop suggested above would work well but the picture just says it all for Skye.

I would be tempted to loose the beach upto the sheep, great view though, and it was good to meet you Rob, and we both really enjoyed our time with George and Serena, as for the photo's... looking at mine, your avatar is safe!!!! ;0) All the best Hadrian

A lovely scene. I agree with the previous comments and if it were mine I'd probably crop it as a letterbox losing the top of the sky and the area below the rocky strand.

If you are a lonely farmer then maybe not?and we would rather look at fronts of the subjects instead of the other ends.
Agree with Alun on the crop.

Thanks to all for your comments, most of which have the same thread, that is to crop the sky and look a bit at the foreground. I'm not yet fully familiar with burning in PSE 7, unlike my old matey Grump George whose adroitness at Photoshop is legendary in his own living room. So I have done a slight alteration and posted it here for comments.
The one alternate to that thread discussion was the rear-end facing posture of our local sheep. Regrettably my shepherds ability wasn't able to have them turn round and face the camera, as it was a few weeks back when I posted the rear-ends of some Whooper swans taking off from a nearby frozen lake. Even Grumpy doesn't have the influence to gets swans to turn 180' in mid-air!
And as for being a local single farmer on Skye, send me a private message!!!!
Kind regards to all for your comments, all of which help me to aspire to be a better photographer. And thats what CFF is all about! Thanks
