As the Moon rose over Loch Lomond - 10 minute Exposure.

This is the image I took following my first 22 minute exposure. The moon rose over the mountain shortly after. Exposure was not as long as the first of course due to the moons rate of travel.

I would have liked a sharper more defined moon but it wasn't possible due to the requirement of a lengthy exposure.

This was the point everything went quiet :)

I like this one to Ian. Good framing here with the trees and hills. Know the spot very well, did you manage to get a shot of the old jetting post just round the corner on the right?

Like your composition and the light and tones in this Ian, excellent work.

Nice composition. I find the moon path a bit dissappointing (looks a bit like it needs cloning out !) and could do with a little more light in the foreground and hills IMO.

Hi Hugh, comments respected and appreciated.

I had to balance the exposure with the moon moving unfortunately. Otherwise, I would have ended up with a fat looking moon :).

There was scope I supposed for two exposures but would have requires some very careful blending. Still, my 22 minute exposure and this one could possibly be blended together as the camera is in the exact same fixed position for both images. :)
