Thanks Jackie. It was quite funny really we were all like the pied piper it seemed that everywhere we went there was always a few people following where we went and waiting to take the same shot when we moved off.

were yo lying on the ground again!! you're mighty close to the snowdrops. Would it have been better if flash was used to highlight the little darlings or you could have moved them
I'm still getting used to the new software. the landscape i posted is in fact a panorama of about 7 shots taken with the 1d3 using the 100-400 at 100 and merged in cs4 then cropped because there was too much dark on the outer parts.

Some great shots being posted here :)..
Well done guys on what was certainly a harsh day with the sunlight. I struggled immensly getting an exposure worth anything. Must admit, I'm rather disappointed with myself. However, it was an exceptionally good day being out with you all again so good or bad photos, it doesn't matter to me :)
I do have a couple which I'll post when I get an opportunity to look at them :)

Thank you Alex. I must admit I like #4 more than the others too :)

Cheers Alex.
I found it rather mad to be using the 10stop for shots such as these but it worked nicely :)
