Very glad to hear you jad a good meet (hope you behaved - well a bit!).

A great turn out on Sunday to Fountains Abbey in Yorkshire, where a gang of us gathered to make up once more a terrific gathering.
Weather was very sunny - almost too sunny, creating some challenging light conditions, but I know there are some great images to be seen.
I'll get the ball rolling with this view of the ruin, framed at the front by a fine display of snowdrops.
Looking forward to seeing plenty more from the lads.

A great day was had by all. We really enjoyed ourselves and had a laugh with the 'sheep' We had to leave early so missed the after meet party, but looking forward to the next one.
Will post one or two shots when i've had a chance to look at them.

Here is one of the better ones from Fountains Abbey on Sunday.
And thanks to James for the use of his 40D
(I will blame you if I come home tomorrow from Focus with a new camera)
I struggled with the light all day
looking at this now the original looks sharper.

No problem Phil, I have to go to Banbury then West Thurrock tomorrow, so hopefully when I drive towards home on Wednesday I will call in at Focus for the last day.
Check out the thread I started earlier about the auction in Nottingham for cameras and lenses, may get more for your money there. Oh swans are lovely

This was about the best swan shot I managed out of several attempts. Strong sunshine and no cloud cover was the major problem.

Looks a bit Neptune is taking a leak in the background.
We complain all year about dull and low light conditions and when we do get some sunshine it seems we don't like that either. I suppose there is bright light no light and right light!
Well composed image though and no blow out on the swan.
