    Like it.

Good range of tones for a contra jour shot, with good composition.

Excellent shot as usual. I'm undecided whether or not I'd like to crop the top 10% surfline in order to concentrate on those wonderful patterns and contrasts on the beach.

A very nice shot indeed Rob. I too feel the incoming tide is not needed - but just a minor point, I'd still like it either way.

I think I'd agree with the others about potentially losing the incoming waves off the top of the image. Thinking on it (and trying a quick bit-of-paper-in-front-of-the-monitor crop) this could maybe stand losing the rocks at the bottom, leaving an image with just the watery highlights and the dark figures.

    Hi Rob,

Some lovely tones there and textures as well. Drop the waves at the stop and its a stunner (pulls the eye away from the figures).

Hi Rob, I shoot all my bw pics in colour and convert them after. You can often miss a composition like this if you spend time adjusting the camera! Rob
