Hugh are going down the Urban Explorer route? I found a worthy building yesterday whilst out on my bike so I could be off for a scoot round. Good grab shot you have there and worth storing on the drive for years to come.

This pub is ... sorry was ... a bit of an institution. Located adjacent to the old Tyne Tees TV studios. During the days of The Tube (remember that - broadcast from 1982 to 1987 and fronted by Jules Holland and Paula Yates) which was filmed here, this pub would be full of the bands appearing on the show. It became known as the Green Room for the show.
Well that are demolishing the old TV studios along with this pub so I thought I would try and get a shot of it before it completely disappeared.

Cheers Mark,
I am a bit of an UrbExer on theb sly - not quite upto Trespass yet though (but whon knows). The banks of the Tyne have some great locations for a bit of Urban Degeneration which I want to start exploring a bit.
Glad you like the shot - shame about the fence and the busy road in front of it but still a record of the place before it is gone forever - don't think it is a contender for shot of the week though

Hi Dave,
It is a real shame - I hadn't realised that so much had gone by the time I was able to get a photograph of it.
