    Gran's 80th birthday

Here she is. I've never really been comfortable using ISO 800 but I think the result ain't too bad. Even on the full size file the noise is down at an acceptable low. WDYT?

Looks really good for the ISO used but I'm not a lover of the subject right in the middle of the frame. If you cropped any information from the right then please replace it Jon
Only time I would use this framing is when the subject is looking straight at you but in this occation your Gran isn't.
The bar doesn't look to far away though

    Thanks for the comments chaps.

Cheers Mark - Ya can't not love 'em.

Alex - If you cropped any information from the right then please replace it Jon
Just tried out with a larger spacing on the right Alex and yep, see what you mean. As she's looking out of the frame the photograph appears to become a little more engaging. Cheers for the tip.

George - the colours arnt right. ive done a quick edit. i hope its ok with you.
No problem with the edit. Think you have a sixth sense or the equivalent! Just looked at the Raw file and noticed the background and overall colour saturation looks pretty much identical to your edit. Thanking you.

Mark W - Neat Image and that will be of benefit for you.
Neat image eh. My worries at higher ISO are now appeased.
