Yeah, but the price tag is good for those not using it yet.

Wonder if Adobe will offer a free/cheap upgrade as 3 is out this month, if so then a good offer...

Pete I have the trial version at the moment evaluating - I think I would pretty much like to go over to Breezebrowser Pro.

    Reason I went aperture is
1, Lightroom 2 is ****e with MK4 raw images (IMO).... LR 3 will probably be a big improvement.
2, Aperture 3 is really quick and is made for and by Apple

    So Far...
    I am liking it
& not found anything I do not like (YET)

Tried BB Pro, Not for me.....

Agreed and I wouldn't count on an improvement. I've had a pro license for Lightroom and it's predecessor RAWShooter Premium since day one and they have never yet managed to get acceptable colour accuracy on Canon 1D images (that's why I've been using C1 Pro since 2005).

I've just de-installed my trial version of Lightroom 2.6 because Phase One finally released C1 Pro 5.1 with Mark IV support. What a relief to get back to some realistic colours and a sensible user interface. No more pink race-cars! The Ligthroom choice for reds from a 1D seems to be "pink" or "over-saturated".

However, might pick up a copy of Lightroom 2.6 for use with my point and shoot since C1 Pro doesn't support that.

I've installed LR3 beta and throughly enjoying it - a big improvement on the 1st version which I had. I didn't bother with LR2 because I was so disappointed with LR1 so this new version looks to be a cracker.
