    Hi Kaz
A lovely shot of a coal tit with your usual clear uncluttered background and a catchlight in the eye. Just wondering if slight curves would make it stand out from the background a little more or maybe a bit of saturation - the yellow feathers in particular look a bit dull

thanks Stan i think its ok to be honest the feathers on a coal tit are not yellow they are more of a creamy brown colour so wouldn't want them to be yellow

perhaps yellow was the wrong word to use, itss just they seem a bit duller than those on some coal tits I shot on Brownsea overv the weekend - mind you mine could be all wrong anyway

    Re: Coal tit

A lovely shot Kaz, the background really shows the bird off. I've taken endless shots of coal tits and still haven't got one I like. If I get a reasonable background I always blow the whites or lose the blacks.

    Re: Coal tit

Indeed another highly detailed portrait Kaz, well done.

Yet again, you've managed to get an excellent background which compliments and enhances the colour and detail captured in your subject.
